Men And Sex: Gilead Says Poison Is Prevention With Truvada

What concerns me is the recent push by the World Health Organization for any men who have sex with men (MSM) to take medication to prevent infection.

I have noted this before:  I do not have AIDS, and even though the inserts of an HIV test kit will tell you that the tests do not test for anything, I have never tested positive for HIV.

As noted in the article referenced in the first paragraph, there are many reasons that things came down the way they did, and per my own experience, one of those reasons was that gay men were desperate to distance themselves from any connection to their lifestyle. They did not want drug use and the topic of addiction to raise its ugly head.

Mix ecstasy, meth, poppers, Viagra, alcohol, anti-depressants and no sleep, on a regular basis, and see how you feel and behave. Then add HIV medication (chemotherapy) to it.

Michael Weinstein, the president of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, is one of Truvada’s biggest critics. He’s called it a “party drug” and insists that its supporters are mainly interested in having sex without condoms.

Many gay men have convinced themselves that this safety precaution is liberating. It is, to a degree, but cost/benefit, really? Poisoning is not liberation. The effort to keep gay men addicted is huge. Look no further than the companies who sponsor “pride” events. Easy pickings.

Follow the money.

My own experience as a case manager showed me that Gilead went out of their way to put on a pretty, public face. They take people out to lunch, send a sexy representative to meet with gay guys and rub against them in a restaurant – all to sell their poison. At medical clinics they will have deli trays brought in, and sadly for many, that free lunch is a highlight of their work day.

By granting us rights we already had, they pissed off at least half of the country, who now seemingly  care less than they did, before. The gay community has been glamored by vampires. Our fight for life turned into begging for poison. This is one of the ways that governments destroy our natural tendency to be more loving toward one another, which is our default.
