Pop Artists, Politicians And Royalty: Do They Decide Our Fate From The Same Bed?

This started off as an aside, but here is more, based on a response I received. Part of this sheds light on the thought processes of the person making the comment, but also I need to take a look at how I could have worded things better so that my point was clear (if being clear is possible to those who are not watching and listening).

A few minutes ago I started a blog by asking whether or not the pink triangle has been replaced by the worship of authority, then noticed that Elton John is saying that Jesus would have approved of gay marriage. In another article, he is gearing up for a visit with Putin. I will get back to my original post in a moment, but I am posting this as an aside.

When everybody misses the point:

Some of us are sick of politicians, celebrities, the superstition of “authority” and the belief that some DNA is better than others. I am gay, and Jesus may or may not have done this or that, but loving the “authority” of the State and its banking institutions? “Sir” John? Royal, elite, ruling class, “Sir”? No thanks. And all ya haters of gays, and not banks? You have some seriously messed up priorities.

The problem is deeper than my description of it. The involvement of banks and the royal douche bags and protectors of the ancient secrets of Mystery Babylon cannot be overstated. There is no rising to the top of anything in this world without their approval.

Note: since I was posting about this on other news sites, it seemed only fair that I should take my concerns to a FB page in his name. I am not trying to ruin a good time, but I am trying to shed light on how many lives are shaped (and sometimes ruined), based on the unholy alliance (sorry for the religious term, but it works) between musicians and the controllers of the world. If you cannot see the obvious connection, re: why musicians are such a good pick for social engineering, I am not sure if I can help.

The response to what I wrote, above:

I have never met anyone in my life who loves a bank. You are free to do as you wish in life, I have no business nor do I care what you do in your bedroom as long as children are not involved but it’s not a DNA situation at all. If Sir Paul and Sir Mick can be Sirs, why not EJ? I agree with you, there are people out there with some very mixed up priorities, but this is an Elton site, we are not loving the authority of the state at all or any elite, we love Elton’s music and that’s it. Come move to Canada, being gay here is no problem at all. Knock that chip off of your shoulder, we all have our problems and if Elton’s music can distract us from the grind of daily life, all the power to us!

My response to that:

How I wish you were right, and me wrong, but we do need our distractions, don’t we? What might be at the root of most suffering in the world from which we need to be distracted? The entire point of anybody being associated with royalty was missed, as well as artists, politicians and royalty sharing the same bedroom while deciding our fate. That IS the problem, and cause for concern for free thinkers. The State, banks… different names for different rulers… Don’t confuse awareness as a chip on my shoulder. Canada is just as socialist, if not more, than the USA. I am cool with myself, and totally done with people who take issue … I posted this here because he was trending for gay marriage, and heading off to meet with Putin. — His music is GREAT, yes. That does not change the company he keeps, nor the energies connected to it (and thanks to Elton for getting Donna Summer into the Hall of Fame (Geffen is an elitist billionaire that is another matter, however).

Sad to say, these are the anticipated protests that will come up. I just had a guy call me a derp on another thread about NOAA admitting that the hottest July on record was in the 1930s, and not 2012.  Calling me a derp is all that he had. Ad hominem (personal attacks) are faulty logic.

And so I end on that note. There is much work to be done.
